Ting-Wei Su

Ting-Wei (Justin) Su received his BS degree in Electrical Engineering and MS degree in Electro-optical Engineering from National Taiwan University,
in 2000 and 2002 respectively. After serving in Army’s Electronics and Communication School as an instructor, he joined AU Optronics in 2004, and
worked on improving LCD’s dynamic and view-angle performance for three years. He is currently a PhD student in the Department of Electrical
Engineering, UCLA.

Ting-Wei Su is the co-author of more than 13 peer-reviewed papers in academic journals and conferences. He is also the co-inventor of one issued and
several pending patents, covering Silicon light source, LCD driving scheme and LCD pixel design.

His research interests include novel optical modalities for bio-medical imaging and sensing, as well as their integration with semiconductor
optoelectronics systems.
