Serhan Isikman

Serhan O. Isikman received his BS (2006) and MS (2008) degrees in Electrical Engineering from Koc University, Istanbul, Turkey. He is now pursuing his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He has specialized in optics, bio-photonics and opto-electro-mechanical systems, particularly for on-chip microscopy, digital holography, miniaturized optical display and imaging systems, and electromagnetic actuators for optical microsystems.

He has been awarded a departmental fellowship by UCLA for two consecutive years for his PhD studies. His MS degree work was funded by Microvision Inc., WA, USA and Turkish National Science Foundation. He also received Microvision Inc. Award for outstanding technical contributions to the company.
