Waheb Bishara received his bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physics from the Technion, Israel, in 2003. He received his PhD in 2009 in theoretical physics at Caltech. His PhD research focused on exotic states of matter, in particular fractional quantum Hall systems, and their possible uses as hardware for quantum computers. Currently, Waheb is developing lensless and compact imaging devices which overcome sensor pixel size limitations using multi-frame processing and super-resolution algorithms.
